Bespoke Fitted Furniture in Lymm

Fitted Furniture Designed Around Your Lymm Home

Lymm is full of characterful period homes and village properties with fireplaces, alcoves and irregular rooms, which are exactly where bespoke furniture shines. We build alcove cabinets and shelving that look original to the house and balance a room around its chimney breast.

For older homes especially, hinged shaker-style doors and traditional detailing suit the character, while the interior is planned around the way you live. Everything is designed, built and fitted by us, so it feels considered down to the last handle.

Lymm is a conservation village and the buildings show it. Around the Cross and down towards Lymm Dam there are sandstone and brick cottages with low ceilings, thick walls and floors that are rarely level, and a wardrobe built perfectly square will sit proud at one end unless it is scribed in on site. On a house like that, the scribing is most of the skill. Further out towards Oughtrington, Statham and Broomedge the housing is newer and larger, with tall ceilings and generous landings that suit walk-in wardrobes and full-height cabinetry. What the two have in common is that nothing off the shelf quite fits, either because the room is irregular or because the proportions are simply bigger than standard furniture is made for.
